There are many phrases, lingo and chat terms that are often used in the game of Bingo. Experts of Bingo Outlook have seen that many new players and sometimes experienced players too face the problem of understanding the proper Bingo Lingo. In order to help players understand different types of Bingo Lingo, Bingo Outlook has described some of the important terms, lingo, chat terms and ‘chatiquette’ below:

A crutch and a duck: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 72.

B1 baby of Bingo: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 1.

Cactus- Bingo Pattern: It is a typical pattern in which a player is required to cover the numbers of his/her card in the shape of a particular pattern that takes the shape of a cactus. There are different versions of this pattern such as Statis, Moving and Crazy versions.

Daber: In case of Bingo games played in the Bingo halls, Bingo daber is used to mark the squares in the Bingo cards at Bingo halls. Bingo daber is actually an ink bottle that has a foam top over it, which is used as marker of Bingo cards.

Early Bird Game: A game that is played even before a session starts is called Early Bird Game. Sometimes it has also been seen that Early Bird Games are nothing but first game of the session. Though it should be remembered that ‘Warm Up’ is the more commonly used term for first game of a session.

Face: It is a Bingo sheet that contains twenty four numbers along with free space in the middle.

G Pattern - Bingo Pattern: It is a special pattern in the game of Bingo where the numbers should cover the numbers that are in the pattern of ‘G’ on a player’s card. It also has different versions such as Static, Crazy and Moving.

Hairpin Turns- Bingo Pattern: It is a pattern in which the numbers of a Bingo card is required to be covered in such a way that it takes the shape of hairpin turns. You will win the game when you get those numbers. This pattern can be mirrored too. The pattern of Hairpin Turns has two versions – Static and Crazy.

I Love My Mum: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 51.

J-Lo’s Bum: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means71.

Kelly’s Eye: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 1. This peculiar name is given to this call after the name of one-eyed gangster of Australia, called Ned Kelly.

Ladder- Bingo Pattern: It is a pattern in which the numbers of a Bingo card is required to be covered in such a way that it takes the shape of a ladder in the Bingo card of the player.The Ladder pattern has two versions – Static and Crazy.

Mad Gab: This is a game that is played in the chat rooms and is run by a chat master/host. In this game, the chat master gives a group of words or a phrase to the players. Now, the players have to try and decipher a sense out of the non-sense phrase.

Naughty Forty: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 40.

Often Been Kissed: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 17.

P.C.: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 49.

Quack Quack: It is a call in the game of Bingo that means 22.

R-Button: It is a button that is situated at the foot-rail having the letter ‘R’ over it. A player needs to push this button so that he/she can score his/her wins. In many games, the winning combinations can be rearranged through magic screen like things, where a player needs to push the R-button for every winning combination that he/she sets.
